The HCP and ACAPS sign a cooperation agreement to improve the sharing of data and expertise

The High Commissioner for Planning, Mr Chakib Benmoussa, and the Chairman of the Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare, Mr Abderrahim Chaffai, signed a cooperation agreement on Thursday, 6 february 2025, in Rabat.

The agreement reflects the commitment of the two institutions to strengthening their cooperation and raising it to the level of their ambitions in terms of regular data sharing, exchanging expertise, and carrying out strategic analyses on issues of common interest.

The signatories also expressed their commitment to set up the required mechanisms to ensure effective implementation of the provisions of the agreement and to explore new opportunities for collaboration.

It should also be emphasized that this cooperation is part of an overall approach aimed at optimizing the analysis of the country's economic and social dynamics, based on better integration of data. It also reflects the common will of the two institutions to strengthen the accessibility, transparency, and reliability of statistics as part of the promotion of public policies and development strategies.
