Aware that financial education is a major component of financial inclusion and consumer protection, ACAPS contributes to its promotion in the areas that fall under its scope of intervention through the implementation of popularization and awareness actions for the benefit of different targets.
For this purpose, and in order to reach a wider audience, the Authority has been conducting since 2018 an awareness and information campaign in the form of radio capsules that were broadcast on the airwaves of the main Moroccan radios.
The Authority’s digital strategy is focused on the presence and visibility on social networks, and comes to strengthen the information and awareness of the general public. As such, a series of capsules in motion design have been produced and broadcast by ACAPS offering information and explanations to citizens.
A series of academic conferences and webinars organized by ACAPS for the benefit of the general public, students, academics, etc. allow to sensitize the greatest number of people on the themes of insurance and social welfare.
ACAPS also offers a varied catalog of materials intended for all target groups: comics and cartoons for children and the youngest, "Step-by-Step" brochures to enable citizens to learn about the modus operandi in different situations such as car insurance compensation, car theft, etc... or "vade-mecums", guides, and tip sheets that address various topics.
In addition, ACAPS takes part in media programs for the general public to review important elements related to insurance and thus ensure a better dissemination of information and basic knowledge to the general public.
Lastly, as a partner of the Moroccan Foundation for Financial Education (FMEF), the Authority takes part every year in the international event "Global Money Week".
Through its actions and devices, ACAPS aims at enabling consumers to have a better grasp on insurance products and services, thus fulfilling its mission to protect the rights of the policy-holders, affiliated and members/subscribers.
