ACAPS and IOPS organized a workshop on supervision of pension organizations

The Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS), in partnership with the International Organization of Pension Supervisors (IOPS), organized a workshop on the supervision of private pension organizations from 5 to 7 December 2018. This workshop is part of IOPS 'strategic approach to strengthen the knowledge and skills of supervisors in controlling pension organizations.

This workshop was led by:

• M. Brendan Kennedy, Chairman of the IOPS Technical Committee and President of the Pension Authority of Ireland;
• Mr. Dariuz Stanko, Senior Expert in Social Welfare and Head of the IOPS Secretariat;
• Mrs Ann Devos, Coordinator of Prudential Supervision of the FSMA Pension Plans, Belgium;
• Mr Dennis Oluoch, Deputy Director, Kenya Pension Benefits Authority.
