The Authority welcomed a delegation from the Federation of African National Insurance Companies (FANAF) to ACAPS headquarters on 8 October 2024.
This courtesy visit took place as part of the preparations for the 49th General Assembly of FANAF and was an opportunity for Mr Abderrahim Chaffai to meet Mr César Iekomie Afene, President of FANAF.
Morocco has been chosen to host the 49th edition of this major event in the African insurance sector in February 2025 in Marrakech. This decision follows the acceptance of the bid submitted by the Fédération Marocaine de l'Assurance (FMA).
The FANAF brings together the key players in the African insurance industry, offering a unique platform for exchanging and sharing best practices and shaping the future of the sector.
The FANAF delegation was accompanied by Mr Salahddine AJI, Director General of the FMA.
