ACAPS hosts the Francophone Insurance Supervisors Group (GCAF) seminar

The Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) is hosting the seminar of the Francophone Insurance Supervisors Group (GCAF) on January 26 and 27, 2023, under its rotating presidency.

This meeting, organized in Rabat and attended by representatives of some twenty countries, will focus on two main themes: guarantee funds and inclusive insurance.

The seminar aims, on the one hand, to exchange best practices in these areas and discuss the latest developments in insurance supervision and, on the other hand, to examine ways to develop the partnership and promote channels of cooperation and exchange of expertise between members of the GCAF.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the member authorities of the Francophone Insurance Supervisors Group, the Deputy Secretary General of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors (IAIS) as well as representatives of the Access to Insurance Initiative (A2ii) and the International Forum of Insurance Guarantee Funds (IFIGS-FIFGAss).

It should be noted that ACAPS, which has held the chairmanship of the GCAF since 2021, is one of the founding members of this Group and contributes continuously to its workshops and meetings.
