On May 25, 2017 at 10am at ACAPS headquarters, Mr. Hassan BOUBRIK, President of the Insurance Supervisory Authority and Social Welfare presided over the signing ceremony of an agreement between five mutual funds.
The signing of this agreement aims at setting up a conventional framework that will allow the members, whose contributions were wrongly paid to another mutual fund, to take advantage of their social security benefits (retirement allowance), according to a simplified procedure. Indeed, this issue of incorrect contributions payments affects a large number of members, in this sense multiple complaints have been transmitted to the Ombudsman of the Kingdom.
The ACAPS, one of whose fundamental missions is the protection of the rights of the insured persons, members and affiliates, was asked at the request of the Head of Government to take the necessary steps, in coordination with the Ministry of Labor and Professional Integration, to unblock this situation.
It should be noted that this agreement also provides for a procedure for cleaning up the databases of the mutual funds concerned in order to prevent this type of problem.
