The Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) has released its strategy plan for 2024â2026. This plan is the outcome of a proactive and participative approach, and it embodies ACAPS' strategic vision as an innovative and proactive supervisory body in an environment of constant change.
Within this framework, this strategic plan is founded on ACAPS' major tasks, capitalising on its significant achievements as a regulator of two vital industries, while also taking into account the current challenges associated with technological and socioeconomic revolutions.
With this in mind, ACAPS' new strategic plan is organized into five strategic orientations, each with a set of objectives and priority actions.
To that aim, the supervisory authority will continue to work actively to improve the protection of policyholders and beneficiaries, as well as members and affiliates of social welfare organizations.
It is also committed to improving the insurance sector's organisation and market conduct, as well as ensuring the resilience of players and financial stability.
Furthermore, ACAPS is firmly committed to promoting sustainability and the development and transformation of the insurance industry, notably through the promotion of digitization and innovation.
Furthermore, in the current framework of the large-scale Royal Project for the Generalization of Social Protection, the supervisory authority will continue to support government institutions in improving the social welfare sector. To that purpose, it will monitor the implementation of the projects to extend social protection and reform retirement.
Finally, ACAPS will continue to innovate in order to strengthen its position as a flexible supervisory authority that is fully integrated into the digital era and responsive to its national and international context.
