ACAPS takes part in the work of FNACAM's annual meeting

Mr. Hassan BOUBRIK, President of The Supervisory Authority for Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) took part in the annual meeting of Insurance Agents and Brokers organized by the National Federation of Insurance Agents and Brokers (FNACAM) in Morocco on May 6^th and 7^th, 2016 in Marrakech.

The debate focused on the circular of the Ministry of Economy and Finance dated July 16, 2015, which introduces new rules on the collection of insurance premiums by agents and brokers for the benefit of insurance companies.

Mr. BOUBRIK reviewed the scope of the circular and its impact on the sector and clarified certain provisions. He stated that the purpose of this circular is to protect the various stakeholders and to put an end to certain practices that harm insured persons, insurance companies and intermediaries.
