APPOINTMENT OF MR EL ALAMY AS SECRETARY GENERAL OF ACAPS

Mr. Othman Khalil EL ALAMY was appointed, starting from May 2nd, 2017, Secretary General of The Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS), by Decree of the Head of Government, on proposal of the President of the Authority.

Mr. El Alamy, a trained lawyer, has spent his entire career in the Insurance and Social Welfare Department (Ministry of the Economy and Finance) where he held several positions of responsibility.

From April 2016, Mr. El Alamy held the position of Director of the "Protection of the Insured" in the supervisory authority of insurance and social welfare, and served as interim secretary general before being confirmed to this position.
