Global Money Week: ACAPS raises awareness among the general public, second chance school students and high school pupils

The Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) is taking part in the 11th edition of the international financial education campaign "Global Money Week" which will take place in Morocco from March 20 to April 02, 2023 on the theme "Plan your money, plant your future!"

Organized in partnership with the Moroccan Foundation for Financial Education (FMEF) and in line with ACAPS' mission to promote financial education in the areas covered by its field of activity, this major event will bring children and young people closer to the world of finance.

Within this framework, the Authority intends to deploy, throughout the week, several awareness-raising actions, including

• The organization of a webinar on the theme "Ach Kat3ref 3la Taamine?" for the public and its projection in several schools;
• The animation of awareness sessions on insurance and social welfare in high schools and second chance schools;
• The animation of seminars on insurance and social welfare for the benefit of university students;
• The distribution of an educational guide on insurance to several high schools and colleges throughout Morocco;
• The organization of the second edition of the interactive quiz "Ach Kat3ref m3a ACAPS" available on the platform https://ach-kate3ref-m3a-acaps.ma allowing young people aged 18 to 35 years to evaluate their knowledge on insurance and social welfare and to win prizes by participating in the draw.

It should be noted that the "Global Money Week" event is a worldwide campaign organized every year by the OECD International Network for Financial Education (OECD/INFE) aiming to raise awareness of financial issues among young people and to give them the opportunity to progressively acquire the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors needed to make wise financial decisions.
