The Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare took part in the meetings of the AFIRC (Arab Forum of Insurance Regulatory Commission) held on September 30, 2018 in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.

AFIRC aims to strengthen cooperation among its members and promote transparency and best practices in the insurance industry in the Arab world.

ACAPS has served as Chair of the Forum for a four-year term. During the meeting of September 30, AFIRC Presidency has been transferred to the Insurance Authority (United Arab Emirates).
