On the sidelines of GITEX, TAMWILCOM and ACAPS sign a memorandum of understanding to promote insurtech entrepreneurs

On the  sidelines of the second edition of GITEX Africa, Tamwilcom's Managing Director, Mr Hicham ZANATI SERGHINI, and the Chairman of the Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS), Mr Abderrahim CHAFFAI, signed a memorandum of understanding on Wednesday, May 29, in Marrakech, to strengthen their interventions in support of start-ups and innovative projects in the insurance and social welfare sectors.

The signing ceremony took place at the opening session of Tamwilcom's exhibit, which was dedicated to celebrating the official launch of the new edition of the Innov Invest Fund (FII), emphasizing the importance of this new collaboration.

This Memorandum of Understanding reflects the two institutions' ambition to promote innovation in Morocco's insurance and social welfare sectors by facilitating access to finance for project holders and innovative start-ups, particularly through TAMWILCOM's product offering as part of the Innov Invest Fund.

The two organizations have also decided to collaborate to bring their different ecosystems closer together and to develop unique initiatives geared to the needs of innovative ventures in insurance and social welfare.
