The National Authority for Probity, Prevention and the Fight Against Corruption, Bank Al-Maghrib, the Moroccan Capital Market Authority and the Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare signed on Thursday November 28 in Rabat, a cooperation agreement that sets the areas and modalities of cooperation between the signatory parties, in the prevention and fight against corruption in the financial sector.

This action, which falls in line with the national anti-corruption strategy, reflects the shared desire of the four institutions to strengthen the governance framework governing the fulfillment of their respective missions in this area.

The areas covered by the agreement mainly concern the exchange of experience and expertise in the prevention and fight against corruption, the organization of awareness-raising and training actions for the benefit of their staff and financial sector players, as well as the development of studies and analyses to strengthen the control of the corruption risk.

For the purposes of this agreement, the signatory institutions agree to draw up a specific action plan and an annual review of its implementation.
