The Directorate of the Protection of Policyholders proposes and deploys ACAPS strategy for the protection of policyholders. In this context, it oversees insurance products and monitors their compliance with regulatory provisions and good practices. It also supervises the commercial practices, investigates claims and requests for information from policyholders and beneficiaries of insurance contracts, and contributes to the diffusion of an insurance culture.
This department is in charge of controlling and monitoring the business practices of insurers, insurance intermediaries and other distributors of insurance operations in order to ensure compliance with the regulations and the interests of insurers, underwriters and beneficiaries of contracts.
The department of insurance products monitoring is responsible for controlling the compliance of insurance contracts with regulations and good practices and ensuring that insurers honor their commitments under these contracts. This department also has the mission to work on the development of insurance coverage to better meet the needs of consumers.
