Holding of the 15th meeting of the ACAPS regulatory commission

The regulatory commission of the Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) held its 15th meeting on 19 June 2020 to examine various draft regulatory texts relating to the insurance sector.

The regulatory commission thus examined the following drafts:

• The circular of the Authority aimed at softening certain prudential rules on a transitional basis, in connection with the sanitary crisis Covid_19.
• The amendment of the general circular relating to insurance sector

It should be recalled that the regulatory commission is a body responsible for giving the Chairman of the Authority an advisory opinion on, in particular, draft laws and regulations, draft circulars, the granting of authorisations to insurance companies and the approval of the articles of association of mutual pension and mutual benefit societies.
