The Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare implements a solution for managing and processing the claims of insured persons, members and affiliates. This platform allows the citizen:

  • To file a claim through a detailed form that promotes fast processing;
  • Receive acknowledgments of receipt and e-mail notifications to avoid travel expenses and possible delays;
  • Access a claim number to follow the status of the file;
  • To communicate, if necessary, via the platform, the additional information and the necessary supporting documents.

For a better processing of claims, ACAPS along with Insurance and Reinsurance Companies have agreed on a collaboration that will enable the Authority to assign all the complaints received to the companies concerned. In this sense, an agreement has been signed to formalize the procedures for the exchange of information and the processing of complaints. The agreement also sets the deadlines to be met in order to respond efficiently to the claims of the insured.

This platform is the result of a partnership between ACAPS and the Ministry of Industry, Investment, Trade and Digital Economy.
