The regulatory commission holds its first meeting

The Regulatory Commission of The Supervisory Authority for Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) held its first meeting on Wednesday, June 8, 2016.

At this meeting, the committee adopted its rules of procedure which will be transmitted to the Board of the Authority for approval. It should be recalled that the Regulatory Commission is an advisory body charged with giving the President of the Authority an advisory opinion on, mainly, draft legislative or regulatory texts as well as draft circulars or the granting of approval of insurance companies and the approval of the statutes of retirement mutual funds and mutual insurance funds.
